About Us
The Prince’s Trust is committed to transforming lives and building sustainable communities by enabling young people to complete their journey from education to employment.
Founded by His Majesty the King in 1976, The Prince’s Trust helps young people across the globe respond to the rapidly changing global economy, so they can thrive in the world of work.
The Prince’s Trust was founded in the UK by His Majesty the King in 1976 (when he was HRH The Prince of Wales) with the vision that every young person should have the chance to succeed. That vision remains unchanged today.
The 45th Anniversary of The Prince’s Trust also marked another milestone – more than one-million young people around the globe have been supported by the trust.
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, unemployment, particularly for young people and under-served communities, was an urgent global challenge. Now, the situation is critical. Our programmes support young people and communities on their journey from education to employment, empowering them to build their own futures.
Globally, the Trust also delivers employability and enterprise programmes for military veterans and indigenous groups.
Together, our mission is to transform lives and build sustainable communities worldwide.
